Loved by Guests, Trusted for Excellence
Disliked: It was definitely in the middle of nowhere, but only 3 miles from my eventual destination.

Very good
Reasonable value and a short... Liked: We stayed at the Indian Mound Motel in Fairmont City, Illinois, for one night on September 26th while looking for a reasonably priced place to stay just outside St. Louis. For a value option, the motel delivered what we were looking for. Our room was pleasant enough and, most importantly, tidy and functional. It did feel quite basic, but for a one-night stay and the price point, that wasn’t necessarily a problem. The air conditioning worked well, although it was quite noisy. The room also had a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, hairdryer, and complimentary toiletries, which were all useful additions. One of the things we appreciated was being able to park right outside the room, making it very convenient for bringing luggage in and out. The room had everything we needed for a short stay without any unnecessary extras. Overall, the Indian Mound Motel is a straightforward, no-frills accommodation that offers good value if you’re simply looking for somewhere clean and convenient to spend the night near St. Louis. It’s not a luxury property, and the room is certainly basic, but it provided the essentials and suited our needs well. For travelers prioritizing affordability and convenience over amenities or a more modern hotel experience, it’s a reasonable option. Disliked: The walls were very thin, with very active and noisy neighbours!
Good motel. They are constantly... Liked: It was clean and comfy and the owner or manager, not sure, was very nice and helpful.
